1. Orders and payment
Do I need to create an account to shop?
No. You can shop at the SILK & SLEEP online store without creating an account. To place an order, simply provide the necessary delivery and contact details.
What payment methods can I use?
In our online store, you can securely pay with bank cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods provided during checkout.
Available payment methods depend on the country.
Is it safe to shop at SILK & SLEEP?
Yes. Payments are processed through secure payment systems that use encrypted data transmission. SILK & SLEEP does not store your payment card details.
Can I change an order I have already placed?
If your order has not yet entered the preparation or production stage, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to change the color, size, delivery address, or other order details.

2. Delivery
How long does it take for orders to be dispatched?
In-stock items are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days.
The preparation of custom-made products and silk bedding orders may take longer. The specific timeframe depends on the nature of the order and production volume.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship SILK & SLEEP products to selected European countries.
Available shipping countries, methods, and costs are provided at checkout.
How will I know that my order has been shipped?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information, provided by the chosen carrier.
3. Returns and exchanges
Can I return a purchased item?
Yes. Standard items purchased online can generally be returned within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.
The item must be in acceptable condition. Certain items may be subject to statutory return exceptions.
Is it possible to return custom-made silk bedding?
SILK & SLEEP custom-made products are manufactured according to a specific customer's body measurements, non-standard sizes, or special requests.
Since these products are personalized and tailored for a specific person, they are not covered by the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.
Custom-made products are not eligible for return or exchange simply due to a change of mind.
If the product does not meet the agreed-upon dimensions, order specifications, or has quality defects, SILK & SLEEP will arrange for its repair or replacement in accordance with applicable consumer protection requirements.
Who pays for the return costs?
If you are returning a high-quality item due to a change of mind, you are generally responsible for the direct costs of the return, provided you were informed of this before purchasing.
If the item is defective or you received the wrong item, the seller's legal obligations apply.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued no later than 14 days from the receipt of the notice of withdrawal. In cases provided for by law, we may delay the refund until we receive the item or proof of its dispatch.
Is it possible to change the color or size of an item?
Please contact us via email. We will evaluate the exchange options based on the product type and its condition.

What makes SILK & SLEEP silk special?
SILK & SLEEP products are made from high-quality natural Mulberry silk.
This fabric is valued for its softness, smooth surface, subtle sheen, and pleasant feel against the skin.
We pay great attention to fabric quality, sewing precision, and durability.
What do 25 momme and 30 momme mean?
Momme is a unit of weight measurement for silk fabric.
25 momme silk is denser and heavier than 19 momme fabric.
30 momme silk features an even higher fabric weight and a richer texture.
However, fabric quality is determined by more than just the momme count – the silk fibers, weave, and finish are also important.
Are silk pillowcases beneficial for hair?
The smooth surface of silk can reduce mechanical friction between your hair and the pillowcase.
As a result, your hair may become less tangled and frizzy during sleep.
Is silk suitable for sensitive skin?
Natural silk is a soft, smooth fabric, making it pleasant to the touch for most people.
However, silk is not a medical device and cannot be considered a treatment for skin conditions.
5. Silk care
Can I wash natural silk?
Yes, if the product's care label allows it.
We recommend using a detergent designed for silk, choosing a gentle wash cycle, and avoiding strong spinning.
At what temperature should I wash silk?
Follow the product care label. For most washable silk items, cool water (around 30 °C) is suitable.
Can I tumble dry silk?
Generally, we do not recommend it.
It is best to air dry silk naturally, avoiding direct sunlight and strong heat sources.
Can I iron silk?
If the care label allows it, silk can be ironed at a low temperature, preferably on the reverse side.
